WTCR 2019 Germany: Leuchter wins Game3

The third and final race of the World WTCR at the Nurburgring, was won again by a Volkswagen. Home rider Benjamin Leuchter has triumphed for half a second, in front of the belgian Frederic Vervisch and the argentine Esteban Guerrieri. Game3 has seen less overtaking, but more accidents, compared to the previous heats.

The Volkwagen Golf TGI WTCR has hit the ‘bis’. After the victory of the Swedish Kristofferson in race 2, it was the turn of the idol of the house Leuchter. The German has led the race since the first curve, which has neutralized any attempt to attack Esteban Guerrieri, jumped from the second row. Behind them, in the first kilometres of the race, there was the trio: Vervisch, Attila Rates and Gabriele Tarquini.
