The big fans of Supercar they will be able to have their own KITT staff: the cars, the house , the Tesla, in fact, soon they will be able to speak. To reveal it is Elon Musk, who has used his preferred means of communication, Twitter, to share a video of a Model 3 from whose speaker a voice exclaimed: “don’t look at me, come aboard”. In his Tweet, Musk reveals: “The Tesla will soon be able to talk about. It is true”.
This news comes from the legislation, recently introduced, which requires all electric cars to emit an artificial sound to signal their presence to road users in the event that the car is proceeding at slow speed. Tesla, like other manufacturers, is installing on its cars attached to external speakers that could also be used to reproduce other sounds, such as a voice.
This feature, in addition to serving for the purposes of jokes, could be another piece in the long-term plan of Musk, who intends to transform their vehicles into taxi, self-employed, allowing owners to earn money when not using the car by providing steps to customers. The voice message spread by Musk, that invites those outside to climb aboard, it may just be a tool to be used in this service. It is not clear when the Tesla talk: Musk says “soon”, but do not want to say too much on a date. We’ll see, or rather, to feel.
