Formula 1 2020: Alfa Romeo C39, shakedown in Fiorano

On Valentine’s day the hearts of sports fans of the’Alfa Romeo Racing beat strong thanks to the images that arrive to us from the shakedown of the C39 in progress at this time on the Fiorano track. The official debut of the car of Alfa for the season 2020 of Formula 1 is expected on the 19th of February in Barcelona, immediately before the pre-season testing, but the team at the Hinwil wanted to first carry out a brief inspection test of the new solutions designed for the year 2020.

As well as succcesso last year, today the Alfa Romeo Racing went on track with a livery in “camouflage”, on which stands but a romantic heart, with the symbol of the Serpent. The color scheme definitive, however, should not be too different from that of 2019, with the red and white protagonists. At the wheel of the C39 in Fiorano there is Kimi Raikkonen, who will be joined for the season 2020 from Antonio Giovinazzi.

The Alfa Romeo C39 is closely related to the Ferrari SF90 last year: to accommodate the new V6 of the house of Maranello, which is more compact than in the past, engineers at Hinwil have been working to adapt to handle different attacks and the presence of different accessories. On the sides of the car note then the sponsor Orlen, brought as a dowry by Robert Kubica, the new test driver of the team.
