PSA, closing up to the 27th of march for all european factories

PSA has ordered the firm production of all its plants in europe until march 27 to make way for the emergency Coronavirus: the stop will also cover the factories of Opel in Germany and Poland, and those of Vauxhall in the United Kingdom. The closures will be structured as follows: the factories of Mulhouse, France, and Madrid, Spain, will close today; those of Poissy, Rennes, Sochaux, France; Zaragoza, Spain; Eisenach and Rüsselsheim, Germany; Ellesmere Port, inInghilterra; and Gliwice, Poland, will stop Tuesday.

Stop Wednesday for the factories of PSA in Hordain, France; Vigo, Spain; and Mangualde, in Portugal; and Thursday will be the turn of the factories of Luton, in England, and Trnava, Slovakia. The decision of the firm production, reads the press release disseminated by the PSA, was taken to via dell’increase in cases of COVID-19 in the vicinity of some plants, due to lack of supplies and the sudden collapse of demand in the automotive sector.
