FCA riconvertirà a factory of the group to produce masks for the emergency Coronavirus: to confirm in a letter to employees. it was the CEO, Mike Manley. The content of the communication has been made known by the secretary general of the UILM, Gianluca Ficco. “The goal,” explains Manley – is to start production in the next few weeks and get to produce more than a million masks per month which will be donated to the first responders and health care workers”.
The plant in question has an office in Asia. “In these exceptional times”, adds the CEO of FCA and chairman of ACEA – we are evaluating how to leverage the ingenuity and expertise of Fca to help the community.” FCA and Ferrari are already working together with the Siar of Bologna, to help the company to accelerate the production of respirators, raddoppiandola compared to the current capacity.
