OVER 300 HP – After being unveiled in its forms defined last fall at the Los Angeles motor show, the Mini John Cooper Works GP (here to learn more) is ready to arrive in dealerships, where by these days it is already can be ordered at a price of 45.900 euro. The little Mini three-door has grown by four inches in width, and has gained a new flared fenders in carbon fiber which, in addition to cover the extra track, facilitate the flow of air along the side. Under the hood the 2.0 liter turbo petrol 306 HP mated to eight-speed automatic transmission (the only transmission available) pushes this little “bomb” of the Mini from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, up to a maximum speed of 265 km/h.
LIMITED EDITION – To the contrary of the other models of the range of the manufacturer of the Mini John Cooper Works GP does not offer special customization options: all 3,000 copies of this limited edition (of which 150 were allocated to Italy) are marked by grey painting contrasted by the silver color of the roof and the mirror caps and the red details of the graphics and of the reinforcement bar in aluminium that takes the place of the rear seats. Complete the equipment of the passenger compartment, the two sports seats with integrated headrests, and the digital instrument panel is derived from “sister” electric Mini Cooper IF custom graphics.
