The edition 2020 of the Auto show in New York has been cancelled permanently. The organisers had attributed the decision to the consequences of the health emergency in the course in the Big Apple and the conversion of the exhibition spaces of the Javits Convention Center into a field hospital.
The first referral. In mid-march, the event was postponed from April (from 8 to 19) August/September (from 26 August to 6 September) due to the rapid spread of the infection from coronavirus) in New York, became one of the major outbreaks of the West Coast of the United States. Now, because of the uncertainty about the future of the pandemic and the difficulties of the manufacturers in the “plan” in an appropriate way their participation, it came from the decision to cancel the entire program, referring to the whole of the edition of next year, scheduled from 2 to 11 April. For the automotive sector this is the umpteenth cancellation of a great fair event, starting with the most important, the Geneva motor show.
