Formula 1 – Russell wins the Virtual Monaco GP

George Russell dominated the Virtual Grand Prix of Monaco, the event of the export of the Formula 1. The English pilot of the Williams has won with about 40 seconds ahead of Esteban Gutierrez, now on the track to defend the colors of the Mercedes. On the podium, the ferrari driver Charles Leclerc.

Victory solo. 18 minutes of qualifying were held entirely in the rain, a condition which has many wonderful surprises. To take the pole position was, in fact, Pietro Fittipaldi. The pilot of the Haas was able to start in front of everyone with an advantage of four tenths over Russell. The things in the race, however, are going to be different: this time the asphalt was dry, and Russell was quickly able to conquer the head of the race, maintaining its leadership until the end. The race is a bit more complicated for Charles Leclerc, who has also suffered a bit of fatigue after having debuted today in the role of actor in the short film by Claude Lelouch. The monaco has closed, however, on the podium, taking advantage of an error by Alex Albon in the final laps.

Heavy penalty. In addition to the usual bumper cars in the early stages, with a tangle at the start, which involved several drivers, all the drivers during the race they have held a conduct rather aggressive. And, therefore, are fioccate also the penalties that have had an influence on the final ranking. Among the first 14 finishers, the only ones to not have been the penalty at the time were George Russell and David Schumacher. All the other abounded with cuts of curve and accidents: the negative record is touched to Vitantonio Liuzzi, disqualified from the race for having been awarded 6 penalties, while Nicholas Prost stopped at the altitude of 5.
