Skoda Octavia G-TEC 2020: bi-fuel cng 130 HP and 700 km of autonomy

In the range of the new Skoda Octavia could not miss the version by G-TEC dual petrol and methane. The Czech company has just introduced the engine to a “green”, which promises greater autonomy when running on natural gas.

More methane than gasoline

Available for both the Skoda Octavia sedan, both for the station wagon (Combi), the G-TEC is powered by a 1.5-liter TDI 130 HP. Under the hood are hidden the two cylinders of methane, with a total capacity of 17,33 kg, which promise an autonomy of about 500 km. It is not over here because the range increase of 190 km thanks to the tank of 9 gallons of gasoline in support of the methane.
