EVEN FOR THE very YOUNG – Part of the ninth season of the Mini Challenge, mono-brand trophy reserved for the “pepper” in the british prepared for racing. They are divided into two categories, both derived from the Mini John Cooper Works series: Pro Challenge for the cars from 265 HP and Challenge Lite for those with 231 HP. For 2020, it adds a novelty dedicated to children: the Mini Challenge Academy reserved for pilots with less than 25 years, side-by-side from the “drivers” prefessionisti, give life to a true championship in the league.
FIVE APPOINTMENTS In respect of government regulations against the spread of the Covid 19 the Mini Challenge 2020 takes place “behind closed doors” in a five-race weekend in the most famous Italian circuits. They are organized in the framework of the Aci Racing Weekend (promoted by ACI Sport Italy), in which are grouped the races of all categories. Here are the dates:

LIMITED EDITION – To celebrate the edition 2020 of the championship saw the debut of the Mini John Cooper Works Challenge Edition (43.900 euros), a special version of the more powerful of the road models, and produced in only 35 pieces. It differs from the Mini John Cooper Works series to the solid red with the white roof inspired by the one of the ancestors who won the monte carlo Rally in the 60’s, for the logos of the celebrations and for the rich standard equipment, which includes: additional headlight, sound system, Harman Kardon, navigation, back-up camera, wheels 18” with seats “racing”. The mechanics remains that of the model series, with the 2.0 turbo diesel with 231 HP, mated to eight-speed automatic transmission.
