The first green light to the decree of the Relaunch, with the provisions in favor of the auto industry. The Chamber approved the text of the decree law with 278 votes in favor, 187 against and one abstained.
You will pass in the Senate. The measure must now pass to the examination of the Senate for the final and lasting conversion in law. The text will land in the hall of Palazzo Madama on July 14, but it is, substantially, a pure formality as there are no time to make further changes: the 18 July expire, in fact, the terms for the conversion into law of decree dismissed by the government in mid-may.
Incentives. The measure is worth € 55 billion, almost two read the budget, and thanks to the agreed amendments in the Budget Committee of the Chamber includes a series of measures to encourage the recovery of the automotive market. If the decrees will arrive promptly from 1 August until 31 December, will be available for state grants of up to 1.500 euro (plus the other 2,000 are guaranteed by the concessionaire in the form of discounts) for the purchase of a new car, Euro 6 (with emissions of between 61 and 110 g/km of CO2 and a price of up to 40 thousand euro, net of Vat), with the simultaneous scrapping of a car that old, at least ten years. The incentive, for a total of 3,500 euros, is subject to the granting of the discount from the dealer. Without scrapping, the contribution drops to 750 euros (with € 1,000 guaranteed from the dealer).
Increases the ecobonus. For the purchase of cars with emissions between 0 and 60 g/km, i.e. the electric and plug-in hybrid that already enjoy ecobonus, is a further contribution of 2 thousand euro (plus another 2 thousand granted by the seller) to the front of the scrappage of an old car and euro 1,000 (plus an additional 1000 from the dealer) without scrapping. Accordingly, for the last five months of 2020, theecobonus and the measures of the decree to Relaunch it add to and strengthen significantly the support is intended to drive low-carbon: for cars between 0 and 20 g/km of CO2, the incentive total goes from 6 to 10 thousand euro, with a trade-in and from 2,500 to 6,500 without, while to the car between 21 and 60 g/km of CO2, the subsidy increases from the current € 2,500 to 6,500 in case of scrapping, and from 1,500 to 3,500 without scrapping.
