Forecast traffic on the motorways: first weekend red stamp

STARTING SMART – With the weekend at the gates, for thousands of people is approaching the time to leave the city and reach places of the sea or the mountain. Before reaching there, however, there is to get to grips with the journey to the motorway, which can be stressful when there are traffic or road construction. We see, therefore, what are the sections of motorway to be avoided in view of Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th of July 2020.

RED STAMP – As evidenced by the calendar of the traffic Police with the traffic forecasts for the summer of 2020, Saturday, July 25, is announced a day of “difficult” in Italy: are the expected conditions to be red in the morning and afternoon, therefore with heavy traffic and possible traffic jams. In the morning of Sunday, July 26, is the estimated traffic by a yellow label, so intense, but conditions from red stamp are expected in the afternoon on Sunday.

The flow of traffic is more intense, always according to the estimates of the Police, are expected in the highways:

TRAITS CLOSED – in Addition to the intense traffic, those who are travelling on the 25th and 26th of July will have to worry about also of the stretches closed to the circulation: they are found mainly in the highways A1, A8, A10 and A26, but the situation has clearly improved over the past few weeks, because in Liguria there are currently a few construction sites. Here are some traits to avoid (the full list is here).

A1 Milan-Naples, from 21: 00 on 24 July at 06: 00 on July 25 will be closed the barrier of Casalpusterlengo, in both directions.

A8 Milan-Varese, from 21: 00 on 24 July at 06: 00 on July 25 will be closed the barrier of Besnate, in both directions, from 22: 00 hours of 24 July to 06.00 on July 25 will be closed the barrier of Castelletto Ticino, in both directions.

A10 Genova-Savona, between the hours of 22.00 pm on the 24 July at 06: 00, 27 July will be closed the barrier of Voltri-Arenzano, in the direction of Ventimiglia

The A26 Genova-Gravellona Toce, from 21: 00 on 24 July at 06: 00 on July 25 will be closed on the stretch between Predosa and Masone, in the direction of Genoa.

INCONVENIENCE of BOLOGNA – In the weekend are expected, with possible inconvenience to Bologna, where you will perform various road construction and it is expected the closure of several roads: from 22: 00 hours of 24 July to 06.00 on July 25 will be closed, the connection of the New Bazzanese in the direction of Vignola; in the same time slot will not be practicable, the connection of the SS 9 Via Emilia, in both directions; between the hours of 22.00 to 06.00 will be closed, also the section of Bologna of the Flush, in the direction of Bologna Borgo Panigale.

USEFUL TIPS – it IS good to remember that our safety and the safety of other motorists is the priority: it is therefore advisable to avoid any distraction to driving; maintain a suitable safety distance from the vehicle in front; moderate speed, respecting the limits laid down; fasten their seat belts even in the rear seats, and ensure children with car seats and adapters. It is forbidden to use phones while driving without a headset or earphones. Make frequent stops, at least every two hours of driving, uninterrupted. Alcohol and drugs are incompatible with driving.
