Among the many innovations that will be at the Geneva 2020,there will be certain models equipped with the hybrid system plug-in. The BMW 330e in the variant Touring, for example, or the Cupra Leon eHybrid, without forgetting the Renault Captur And-Tech. But even the Jeep Renegade and the Compass 4xe, already ordered, which will arrive in the summer in the showroom, and the group FCA will inaugurate its range “the plug”, the ring of conjunction between the cars full hybrid and electric vehicles.
Greater autonomy. The plug-in, in fact, represent an ideal choice for those who, while appreciating the models with zero emissions, you do not want to live with the anxiety column. In reality, the connector is expected, but is not essential: the charging gives you more electric range to the car, which otherwise may only cover short stretches of road in this mode, as the full hybrid, equipped with a small battery. If the latter are loaded, the plug-in can move to zero emissions for some tens of kilometers (on average between 40 and 60 km), however, sufficient to address city routes without ever using the engine.
