The International Automobile Federation has announced a date change for the Rally of Turkey, which will be held a week earlier than previously disclosed. The WRC will run on the gravel roads the turks from the 18th to the 20th of September: the advance should allow the inclusion in the calendar for another event, probably the one of Belgium.
Jona Siebel, ceo of the WRC, said: “This change of date gives us more options to introduce new events in the calendar year 2020. We can’t wait to be in Marmaris, a popular tourist destination in Turkey, from where will start the event. Everything will be played of course by following the current rules and protocols legativi the Covid-19”.
